Leonardo Ambard

With more than 20 years of international experience in real estate development, Leonardo Ambard specializes in the identification, acquisition, development and repositioning of real estate assets. He is pleased to bring his development expertise to 88 Hundred Collins, a boutique, 28-residence, luxury development just steps from Surfside Beach in Miami Beach.

In the U.S., Ambard has assisted and partnered with national and international developers, as well as investors, since the early 2000s. His most notable projects include:

  • The development of Eurosuites, a 368-unit condominium hotel in Doral, Florida
  • Midtown Doral, a LEED Silver certified project with an estimated sales value of $175 million and 390,000 square feet of commercial space
  • Miami Citiwalk, a proposed project designed by the internationally recognized firm Michael Graves & Associates from New York, for the re-development of Melreese Golf Course to include more than 450 hotel rooms, 177,000 square feet of retail, and a re-designed golf course.

Ambard’s extensive experience includes managing projects through all stages, including site selection, design, legal structuring, marketing, sales, construction completion and delivery. He has successfully designed, developed, owned and operated a diverse category of projects including residential condominium, hospitality, self-storage and mixed use.

Ambard received a Bachelor in Architecture from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, and a Master of Science in Construction Economics and Management from University College London in London, England.



A $70 million, 368-unit condominium hotel. Ambard led all development phases from financing and acquisition, through re-zoning, construction and delivery.  Eurosuites was the first condo-hotel in the west-airport area of Miami, and is currently in operation.


A project designed to be LEED Certified (Silver) with an estimated sales value of $175 million and 390,000 square feet of commercial uses. Includes a 161-unit hotel, 126,000 square feet of Class A office space, 54,000 square feet of condo offices and 8,900 square feet of retail.


The project included the design, construction and operation of a 217-room Westin Hotel, a 249-room Aloft Hotel, 177,000 square feet of retail and a re-designed golf course and its clubhouse.

Ambard assembled and led a team of consultants, operators and designers, including the globally recognized firm Michael Graves and Associates from New York.
